Color Reimagined
Color Reimagined was created to enhance accessibility at the David Owsley Museum of Art (DOMA) in Muncie, IN, for individuals with color blindness. The exhibit offers specialized glasses that allow colorblind viewers to experience art in vibrant hues previously unseen. Additionally, glasses are provided for those with full color vision to experience color blindness firsthand. The museum also features works by colorblind artists. The branding concept draws inspiration from chameleons, symbolizing the ability to adapt and transform colors, just as the glasses enable new ways of perceiving color. Orange and blue were chosen as the primary colors for branding, as they are the most distinguishable to individuals with color blindness.
